Dear Families,

I am pleased to announce the creation of Discover Camp, the only camp of its kind in the nation and possibly the world. Through my love of hobbies and experience in education I have created a unique experience for boys and girls. Hobbies provide many benefits to developing minds. A variety of hobbies can provide a creative and cognitively stimulating replacement activity to mindless TV watching, and video game playing. In addition, children who participate in hobbies develop their problem solving skills, spatial reasoning ability, keep boredom at bay and feed a child's self confidence.

I have been teaching with hobbies for over ten years. Over these years I have built close relationships with the biggest names in the hobby industry like Tamiya, Kyosho, Estes, Apogee, Trinity, Team Associated, HPI and many others. These relationships allow me to research new products throughout the year to improve existing programs and develop new ones.

I am pleased that Holy Rosary School has embraced the program and welcomed us to their school. The school is located in beautiful Hawthorne, NY. The grounds are perfect for our programs. We'll enjoy large parking lots for RC car racing, fields for rocket launching and model airplane flying and comfortable air conditioned classrooms to escape the summer heat.

Discover Camp will promise a new experience for your child that will begin a lifelong love of discovery.
