Camp Director Anthony Rich and Assistant Director David O’Neil are active, well respected public school teachers with 30 years combined teaching experience

Camp Director/founder Anthony Rich does not sit in an office all day. He holds down a full course load because teaching is what he loves to do

The majority of Discover Camp’s teachers are NYS certified teachers. Our other instructors are mature adults with experience in their chosen fields

We encourage differentiation of curriculum to meet a wide range of student abilities

We believe that all children excel when provided with enrichment activities and an enriching environment

All counselors are former students of Discover Camp, former students of the directors or are personally recommended by an instructor. Discover Camp does not need to advertise for counselors

Last summer our student to adult ratio was 4-1

Teachers design their own courses and love what they are teaching
